Mixed Media: Learn how to bring art to life in this exciting exploration through different art mediums ( e.g. oil pastels, watercolor, colored pencils, tissue paper, collage & more). Students will discover how to combine various mediums together to create wonderful works of art. This camp will include the Monart drawing method, various art medium techniques & colorful craft projects.

Painting: In this popular Monart camp students will learn easy and essential skills in painting with acrylics and watercolor. Our non-threatening approach to learning basic painting techniques will offer our students a high success rate! Students will be taught the Monart drawing method, along with composition, color theory and painting terminology. We will be painting on canvas and other materials. (aprons will be provided, however students should bring an old shirt as well)

World Travel: Pack your imagination and creativity for this exciting trip around the world! This will be an educational exposure to art, history and culture all in one place. Students will learn the Monart drawing method, along with a variety of artistic techniques. Multi-cultural crafts will be included in this fascinating camp.

Amazing Animals: This camp offers an exciting adventure for all animal lovers. It will include an variety of animal subjects for our directed drawings. Various media including markers, graphite, color/ watercolor pencils, and animal crafts will allow students to enhance their drawings creatively. It's sure to be a "roaring" good time!

Cartooning: They're fun to watch on TV, but imagine the possibility of creating your own! This camp is an introduction to drawing animated characters, including some of your favorites from TV, books and movies. We'll also be using our imagination to design our own cartoon characters!

Famous Artists: From Picasso to Van Gogh, this camp is guaranteed to produce some famous art! We will explore the history and techniques of these famous artists and their works, with a focus on composition, color and balance. A great way to learn how to draw is by using the Monart method to create famous and iconic works of art! A painting or craft will be included in this camp.

All About Faces: This NEW camp will focus on the technique behind drawing faces! Students will learn essential skills in rendering a realistic drawing while learning about structure and proportion. We will draw faces from history, fantasy, different cultures and even some animal faces. Students will learn to recognize basic facial features as viewed from the front, side or three-quarters perspective. This camp will be a great asset to any young aspiring artist!
