The owner, Cynthia
Stringfellow Ruddy, has owned and operated the Monart School here in
North San Diego County for the past 17 years, serving not only our
studio students with Monart realistic drawing classes, but with camps,
and after school enrichment classes, held at private and public schools.
During the past 10 years, Cynthia has taught the Monart Method to
certified public and private teachers in an in-service course that
related Monart's realistic drawing method as an integrated curriculum,
using drawing to teach the academics. We take pride in our history of
teaching 100's of children and adults that drawing is a teachable skill.
